Lautaro Martinez strikes to give Inter a 1-0 win in Bergamo over Atalanta. The Nerazzurri finish 2025 on top of the table after an impressive performance from Chivu’s side, who created plenty of chances but only broke the deadlock in the 65th minute following a defensive error by Atalanta and a perfect assist from Esposito, who came on just a minute prior. The Inter captain remained cool and composed with his left foot to score the winner.
Inter move up to 36 points from 16 games (they’ll make up their postponed match against Lecce on January 14) and return to action on January 4 at San Siro against Bologna.
