Another recognition for the Nerazzurri Club, winners of bronze in the Public Relations category thanks to "Th3 Ext1nction Numb3rs" campaign

After winning at The Lovie Awards, Inter has received another international recognition in the field of digital communications. The Club has been awarded at the Clio Sports Awards, the annual competition running since 1959 that celebrates innovation and creative excellent in communication: Inter have won bronze in the Public Relations category thanks to Th3 Ext1nction Numb3rs project in collaboration with WWF.

The video content kicked off the Nerazzurri club's campaign last April as Inter acted in support of the WWF Italia campaign "Il Panda Siamo Noi", wearing Ext1nction Numb3rs out on the pitch: the numbers that give a concrete figure to the ongoing global nature crisis. The initiative saw our players wearing a special kit during the derby di Milano which sealed the Second Star for the Nerazzurri: on each sleeve of each shirt worn by the Inter squad, there was a special patch with a date or a mobilisation message linked to the player's number.

The awareness campaign was recognised at the Clio Sports Awards: the video saw the Nerazzurri players use their own shirt numbers to raise the alarm about the significance of the ongoing environmental crisis. The project was also shortlisted for another three awards: Gameday - In-game experience in the Use of Partner or Sponsor category, Partnerships & Sponsorships in the category Brand x Team/League and as Social Media content in the Athlete/Influencer category.
