Super Inter in Barcelona, 3 - 3 in the semi - final first leg

Cosa abbiamo visto? E cosa ci aspetterà, a questo punto? Siamo ancora lì, tramortiti dalla fatica e dalle emozioni, sui seggiolini a Montjuic e davanti alle televisioni. Difficile mettere insieme tante cose, tanto calcio, in soli 90 minuti. E farlo dopo la settimana appena passata, con tre stop consecutivi, era ancora più difficile. Invece l'Inter, come sempre, regala tutto: qualità, generosità, tecnica, passione. C'è tutto, in questa trasferta, in questa andata della semifinale di Champions League. 3-3 sul tabellone dello Stadio Olimpico Lluis Company, ma dentro quelle maglie sudate, in campo, sugli spalti e a casa, c'è molto di più. Non è stata una partita, è stata un'epopea. Con tanti eroi, protagonisti e antagonisti. Gesta incredibili, da tramandare. E che servono anche ad aggiungere pathos al ritorno, in programma già martedì, al Meazza: vi immaginate, che notte ci aspetta? Il tacco di Thuram, l'acrobazia di Dumfries, le magie di Yamal (gol e traversa in un amen), il pari di Torres, l'infortunio di Lautaro (out al 45' per un problema ai flessori). E poi: le occasioni in ripartenza, il gol di Dumfries, il pari fortunoso di Raphinha (deviazione finale, autorete di Sommer), il gol di Mkhitaryan annullato per millimetri, un'altra traversa spaziale di Yamal. Un elenco che mette in fila tanti episodi, ma non tutti quelli dentro questa partita. Le parate di Sommer, le ripartenze sfumate, il coraggio dell'Inter che nella ripresa si alza e anestetizza l'attacco del Barcellona, pur sempre velenoso. Di tutto, davvero, in questo incredibile primo round di semifinale. Era finita 3-3 anche nel 2022, un'altra partita incredibile, nel girone di Champions: il destino di questa partita che è sempre, sempre, unica.

The match was filled with marvellous examples of football. The first came from Thuram to gain the lead after 30 seconds, from a Dumfries assist. In the 20th minute, the second goal came: corner, Acerbi headed it on for Dumfries' acrobatic effort. 0-2. Barcelona reacted, led by Yamal: the 17 year old made it 1-2 in the 24th minute with a curling shot from the edge of the area. Ferran Torres then made it 2-2 in the 38th minute as he latched onto Raphinha's header. The match was far from boring, with Inter raising the tempo and making life difficult for Barcelona. Dumfries headed it in to make it 2-3 in the 63rd minute, but it was then 3-3 two minutes later: left footed strike from Raphinha from range. Sommer flew to save it but the ball bounced off of his back. It didn't end there: Mkhitaryan looked to have made it 3-4, but it was ruled out for offside. Yamal hit the bar with another strike but it ended 3-3, like the last meeting in 2022. The second leg will be on Tuesday at San Siro, a night that shouldn't be missed.
