It ended 1-1 between Real Betis and Inter. Both goals were scored in the last seven minutes of the game. The trip to Sevilla was a good test for the Nerazzurri as the league resumption approaches.

The match struggled to get off the ground in the first 10 minutes, with both teams creating very little in the final third. The Nerazzurri's first breakthrough came in the 12th minute with Acerbi sending Bellanova through, but Bravo came out to intercept the Nerazzurri's full-back. In the 25th minute it was the hosts who tried their luck with Ruiz, but the captain was alert and parried the shot away with no trouble. Before the end of the first half there was time for Calhanoglu's shot from the edge of the box. The Turkish midfielder shot towards goal off a rebound but, again, Bravo managed to block the attempt.

The second half followed the same pattern as the first, with the two teams taking a few minutes to find their feet. It was Mkhitaryan with the first shot of the second half. The Armenian with a powerful shot from the edge of the box tried to put Inter ahead: Bravo saved well. From a Real Betis free-kick, Miranda tried to break the deadlock, but Handanovic was there. It all happened in the last seven minutes: first Real Betis took the lead through Juanmi, assisted by Joaquin. Then 60 seconds later Darmian restored the balance by scoring the equaliser. Little else happened in the following minutes including stoppage time, except for a round of substitutions.
