Betsson Sport Player of the Month | Lautaro Martinez is your winner for August and September

Lautaro Martinez has been voted Betsson Sport Player of the Month for September by Nerazzurri fans! The captain was chosen through the Club’s social media channels.

It has been a flying start to the season for the Toro, who has already scored four goals in four Serie A appearances. His hunger, instinct and leadership proved decisive in the two big games against Napoli and Roma. Two memorable comebacks inspired by the Nerazzurri captain, two braces from a world-class striker, all while continuing to work tirelessly for the team, press opponents and lead from the front. Against Napoli, Lautaro scored the goal that gave Inter hope before striking the winner in added time with two poacher’s finishes from close range, allowing San Siro to witness another iconic moment as he climbed onto his barrier in celebration. Against Roma, he rescued a point with two clinical finishes: a left-footed volley into the corner and a powerful right-footed turn and strike.

Lautaro has made his mark on Inter’s start to the season from the very beginning, and the fans have now voted him Betsson Sport Player of the Month for September!
