Happy Birthday, Beppe!

There are players who haven’t just worn the Inter shirt, they’ve made it part of their identity, helping define the club’s values, style, and sense of belonging. Giuseppe Baresi unquestionably belongs in this category: a pillar of Nerazzurri history, spanning eras and generations.

Arriving at Inter at a very young age and comng up from the Youth Sector, Baresi built a long and meaningful career, spending 16 seasons with the first team between 1976 and 1992. He wore the shirt for years, with pride and no matter where he played, across Italy and Europe. The numbers speak for themselves: 559 official appearances, placing him among the most-capped players in the club’s history, alongside 13 goals and a highly prestigious list of honours.

Beppe celebrated two Scudetti, a UEFA Cup, two Coppa Italia, and a Supercoppa Italiana with Inter. These achievements were built on leadership, commitment, and a profound sense of responsibility toward the team. His special relationship with Inter didn’t end when his playing career finished; it continued over the years through coaching and managerial roles, always within the Nerazzurri family.
