Happy birthday, Beppe Bergomi!

Giuseppe Bergomi turns 62 today. Lo Zio has been part of Inter since he was a young lad. He made his debut at just 16 years and 39 days old on 30 January 1980 in the Coppa Italia against Juventus, becoming the youngest player to debut in the club's history.

That moment marked the start of an incredible journey: twenty years of wearing the Inter shirt, always with pride, rising from a teenage debutant to wearing the captain's armband. At 18, he became a World Champion at the 1982 World Cup, a crucial player in the national team, while as a Nerazzurri he won the record-breaking 1989 Scudetto, three UEFA Cups, one Supercoppa Italiana, and one Coppa Italia.

A sharp, charismatic, and dependable defender, Bergomi has been a guiding presence through generations of Inter players, serving as a point of reference both on the pitch and in the dressing room. With 756 official appearances and 28 goals, he is a legend of Inter's history, surpassed only by Javier Zanetti.

Giuseppe Bergomi, inducted into Inter's Hall of Fame in 2020, is being celebrated today by the Club and all the Nerazzurri fans!
