Gianfranco Bedin, a true legend of the Grande Inter team, turns 80 today. It is an important achievement for a man that wrote unforgettable pages in the Nerazzurri history books. His footballing growth began within the Nerazzurri academy, and he wore the Inter shirt with pride for eleven consecutive seasons, from 1963 to 1974. He was a modern, dynamic midfielder, wearing number four on his back during a truly unique era.

He made 310 official appearances for Inter, scoring 23 goals in that time. But, above all, he was part of a team that won all across the World: 3 Scudettos, 2 European Cups and 2 Intercontinental Cups make up his list of achievements with the Nerazzurri. He had an extraordinary career in a golden era, and he remains a symbol of loyalty, determination and class.
