Power, dynamism and cold-blooded in front of goal: these are the characteristics that have made Jürgen Klinsmann one of the the most lethal and iconic forwards of his generation, as he won two trophies with Inter.
Having joined the Nerazzurri from Stuttgart in the summer of 1989, Jürgen Klinsmann became one of the defining figures of the Inter side of the early 1990s. Alongside Lothar Matthäus and Andreas Brehme, he formed one of the most iconic trios in the Club's history, winning over the Nerazzurri faithful with his charisma and spectacular goals. During his time at Inter, Klinsmann made 123 appearances and scored 40 goals, helping the Club lift the 1989 Italian Super Cup and the 1990/91 UEFA Cup. While those numbers speak for themselves, they only tell part of the story of a striker whose technical quality, selfless approach and strong personality made him a fan favourite. He also enjoyed a remarkable international career, winning the 1990 FIFA World Cup and the 1996 UEFA European Championship with Germany.On the occasion of his 62nd birthday, everyone at Inter and the entire Nerazzurri family would like to wish Jürgen Klinsmann a very happy birthday.
