Happy birthday, Lido Vieri!

A standout career, a life between the sticks and a part of Nerazzurri history: today Lido Vieri turns 86. He was born in Piombino on 16 July 1939, and he wore the Inter shirt for seven seasons, from 1969 to 1976, racking up 199 appearances and putting his mark on an era of great challenges and equally great rewards, winning the 1970/71 Scudetto with the Nerazzurri.

Lido Vieri represented Italy with pride, becoming European Champion in 1968 and runner-up in the 1970 World Cup: it's an international journey that shows his talent, grandeur and importance within Italian football.

On the day that he turns 86, Inter and all Nerazzurri fans wish Lido a very happy birthday!
