Happy birthday, Rodrigo!

Five seasons in Nerazzurri colours, crucial goals, and a special bond with the fans: Rodrigo Palacio celebrates his 44th birthday today. Having joined Inter in the summer of 2012, “El Trenza” wore the Nerazzurri shirt 171 times, scoring 58 goals and standing out for his work rate, tactical intelligence, and selfless spirit – qualities that even saw him don the goalkeeper gloves to defend our colours.

During his time at Inter, Palacio created unforgettable memories, including his famous back-heel goal that decided the derby on 22 December 2013, a moment etched in the Club’s recent history. Skill, heart, and dedication made Palacio a point of reference both on and off the pitch, winning the affection of the Inter fans.
