Happy birthday, Samuel Eto'o

Happy birthday to Samuel Eto'o! Today, our former forward celebrates his 44th birthday, and we wish him all the best on behalf of the Club and the supporters. In two seasons at Inter, Eto'o made 102 appearances and scored 53 goals as he became a hero for the fans, who voted him into the Inter Hall of Fame in 2021. An unstoppable striker but also a tactical genius, the Lion King built his successes on determination, talent and self-sacrifice. He joined the Club in the summer of 2009 and went on to win six major honours: one Scudetto, two Coppa Italia titles, one Champions League, one Supercoppa Italiana, and one Club World Cup, in the latter of which he was named player of the tournament and scored in the final against Mazembe.
