A disappointing night for Inter at San Siro, as their first home game of the Champions League campaign ended in a 4-3 defeat to Club Brugge. It was the Nerazzurri's second defeat of the 2026/27 league phase, coming at the end of a dramatic, topsy-turvy encounter in which little went their way. Ange-Yoan Bonny, who scored his first Champions League goal, reflected on the match afterwards, alongside Yann Bisseck and Andy Diouf.
“We had a difficult night against a very good side. We need to bounce back straight away. We lost, but we will learn from this defeat and turn our attention straight to the next game.”
Ange-Yoan Bonny
“They took advantage of our lack of balance towards the end. We weren't quite at our best, either in attack or defence. We need to put this game behind us. We've got matches every three days, so we're already focused on the next one.”
Andy Diouf
“It didn't go the way we wanted. Credit to them because they played well. We need to improve because we simply cannot concede four goals in the Champions League. Now we need to bounce back against Shakhtar.”
Yann Bisseck
