Inter Women face Como tomorrow at 15:00 CET

Inter Women are ready to return to action for Matchday 11 of Serie A Women. On Sunday, 25 January, at 15:00 CET, the Nerazzurre will face Como Women at the Mino Favini Stadium in Meda. After an exciting start to the year, Piovani’s side will be aiming to extend their winning run in the final match of the first half of the season.

They arrive in Lombardy on the back of an impressive run: six consecutive victories across all competitions. After a 2-0 win at Lazio and a 5-0 home win over Genoa, Inter secured the derby with a dominant 5-1 win against AC Milan, before overcoming Como 2-1 in the Coppa Italia round of 16. They then defeated Juventus 2-1 away in the league and completed the winning streak with a 2-0 victory at Ternana in the first leg of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.

Como Women have had a mixed run of form and are currently fifth in the league with 16 points from five wins and one draw. They’ve scored eleven goals and conceded ten. In their last five league games, they’ve picked up four points, a 1-0 win at Parma and a goalless draw at Napoli, while suffering home defeats to Roma and Fiorentina.
