Born on January 15, 1956, in Bozzolo, Canuti represented a truly authentic chapter in Inter’s history. A man and a footballer who wore the Nerazzurri shirt with pride, dedication, and a spirit of sacrifice, fully embodying the values of the Club. After coming through the Youth Academy and reaching the first team, Nazzareno Canuti made 183 appearances and scored one goal between 1976 and 1982. A reliable and selfless defender, he stood out for his athletic strength, determination, and excellent aerial ability, always putting himself at the service of the team. During his time at Inter, he contributed to the club’s success with the winning of one Scudetto and two Coppa Italia titles, as part of a close-knit and successful group that wrote important pages in Nerazzurri history. His bond with Inter began at a very young age, just 14, and remained indelible over time.
His name remains etched in the memory of the Club and all Inter supporters as an example of loyalty to the shirt and professionalism.
