The Nerazzurri top seed No. 1 and are set to enter the competition at the Round of 16: dates and possible opponents


Lega Serie A has announced the dates and bracket for the 2026/27 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa.

Inter, the reigning champions, are the number 1 seeded team: they will enter the competition at the Round of 16 and are placed in the upper half of the draw. Their potential opponents in the Round of 16 include Ascoli/Potenza, Genoa, and Catanzaro/Sudtirol. The other seeded team in the same half of the bracket is Bologna, while Como and Milan are placed in the lower half.

Inter will play their Round of 16 match on one of the following dates: Wednesday 2 December 2026, Wednesday 16 December 2026, or Wednesday 13 January 2027.

As usual, the Coppa Italia format features single-leg matches up to the quarter-finals, with the semi-finals played over two legs.

The final is scheduled for Wednesday, 19 May 2027.
