2026/27 Coppa Italia: Inter vs. Genoa on Tuesday 1 December

Inter will face Genoa at San Siro in the round of 16 of the 2026/27 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa at 21:00 CET on Tuesday 1 December.

As holders, Inter are the number-one seeds and will enter the competition in the round of 16 against Genoa. The Nerazzurri are in the upper half of the draw alongside fellow seeds Bologna, while Como and AC Milan are in the lower half.

The winners of Inter vs. Genoa will face either Bologna or Palermo in the quarter-finals.

The cup tie will come just three days after the two sides meet in Serie A. Inter vs. Genoa is also scheduled to take place at San Siro on Saturday 28 November, on Matchday 13.

Genoa have already progressed through two rounds of the competition. They beat Ascoli 4-1 in the first round in August before defeating Südtirol 1-0 in the second round on 15 September.

As usual, Coppa Italia ties will be played as one-off matches up to and including the quarter-finals, with the semi-finals contested over two legs.

The final is scheduled for Wednesday 19 May 2027.

INTER vs. GENOA: THE COPPA ITALIA HEAD-TO-HEAD

Inter and Genoa have met eight times in the Coppa Italia, most recently in 2012. The Nerazzurri have won all eight encounters, always coming out on top against the Rossoblù in the cup, with two of those victories sealed in extra time.

The first meeting came in 1939, in the semi-finals of the tournament that Inter went on to win for the first time. Between 2009 and 2012, the year of their most recent meeting, Inter and Genoa faced each other three times in the Coppa Italia.
