On the eve of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony, the Inter coach brought the Olympic Flame to the heart of the city

The Olympic Flame has arrived in Milano, with the Milano Cortina Winter Games finally about to begin. On the eve of the opening ceremony at San Siro, Inter coach Cristian Chivu carried the Flame through the city in what was the final stretch of its journey from Greece.

Earlier in the week, Vice President Javier Zanetti had taken part in the relay in Cernobbio, and on Thursday afternoon Chivu ran a section of the route through Sant’Ambrogio, in the heart of Milano, before passing the torch to CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio.
