Italy victorious in Malta, Bosnia beaten

Italy recorded their first victory in EURO 2024 qualification. After losing to England on matchday 1 in Group C, Roberto Mancini's side recorded a 2-0 win in Malta, Retegui and Pessina with the goals. Matteo Darmian came on at half time, while Francesco Acerbi remained an unused substitute.

Edin Dzeko and Bosnia, however, faired altogether differently as they lost 2-0 away to Slovakia in Group J. The Inter striker came on in the 63rd minute.
