Ivan Provedel makes his Inter debut

Ivan Provedel could hardly have imagined a more memorable debut for Inter. The Friuli-born goalkeeper made his first appearance for the Nerazzurri against Fiorentina, delivering a solid performance and completing 30 of his 31 passes. He also pulled off a superb save to deny Gnonto at a crucial point in the game, keeping Chivu's side in contention. Provedel was unfortunate not to keep a clean sheet, with Jimenez beating him with a stunning long-range strike, but it wasn't enough to stop Inter from claiming an unforgettable win.
