Federico Dimarco, who bagged the decisive goal, and Alessandro Bastoni give their thoughts following Inter vs. Juventus

A lovely finish and a fantastic celebration. Federico Dimarco's goal - his fifth of the season - was the difference as Inter made the Coppa Italia final. This is what he and Alessandro Bastoni had to say after tonight's game:

“We produced an excellent performance and managed to achieve what we wanted to with a great win. My most important goal? Let’s hope it’s the next one I score. The match against Lazio on Sunday will be difficult, just like all our remaining games will be. We need to take it one match at a time to be successful. We made it through in the Champions League and have now reached the Coppa Italia final; we need to carry on in this manner. This is an incredible group made up of lads who fight for the shirt every game and show their worth.”

Federico Dimarco

“There’s no secret to this win, there’s just the desire to fight together and achieve big objectives. We want to play as a team, thus making us hard to beat. We’ve played Juventus several times this season and we analysed them well. We knew what we needed to do and did just that. We had to dig in against Benfica in the Champions League, and we’ll have to continue to do so for the rest of the season because all our matches will be finals. Now, we’ll turn our attentions to the league because we need to make up ground.”

Alessandro Bastoni
