The Nerazzurri are aiming to make the final for a second consecutive season: the first leg will be played in Turin and the return fixture at San Siro

Inter will face Juventus in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri progressed to the last four after beating Atalanta 1-0 at San Siro thanks to a second-half goal from Darmian. The Bianconeri, meanwhile, ran out 1-0 winners against Lazio in Turin.

Last season, the two teams met each other in the final, with Inter winning the eighth Coppa Italia trophy in their history thanks to a 4-2 victory at the Olimpico.

The semi-final tie will be a two-legged affair and take place in April. Inter will play the first leg away from home, in Turin, on 4 or 5 April. The return fixture will then be played at San Siro on 25 or 26 April.

Away goals will not apply.

The final of this season's Coppa Italia is set for 24 May 2023.

INTER VS. JUVENTUS IN THE COPPA ITALIA: PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS

Inter and Juventus have met in the Coppa Italia on 34 occasions. There have been eleven Nerazzurri wins, 15 Bianconeri victories and eight draws. Inter have scored 43 goals compared to Juventus' 52.

The most recent encounter was the final played in May 2022 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, a showdown that the Nerazzurri won 4-2 after extra time. It was the third meeting between the sides in the final of the competition, with Juventus having won the trophy in 1959 and 1965.

The first showdown between Inter and Juventus in the Coppa Italia was all the way back in 1936. The Nerazzurri's first win came in the sixth clash, in 1972. That day, Mazzola and Boninsegna got on the scoresheet as Inter emerged 3-1 victors.

Inter and Juventus are set to face each other in the Coppa Italia for a third consecutive campaign. Before last season's final, the Derby d'Italia took place in the semi-finals (a 2-1 defeat at San Siro and a 0-0 draw in Turin) in 2020/21. The teams also met in the tournament in 2015/16: there was a 3-0 victory apiece before the Bianconeri won on penalties.
