Spectacular match for the Dutch full-back who scored with an overhead kick and header: he is the first Inter player to score a brace in a Champions League semi-final

It was as if he hadn't been out: after a period of absence, Denzel Dumfries hit the ground running, returning in the best possible way. The Dutchman was key with a brilliant performance in Barcelona. Running, energy and grit rounded off with an assist and two brilliant goals: a brace which meant Denzel was named MVP by UEFA.

The Inter full-back shared his thoughts at the end of the match:

“It was a great game, we played well after three consecutive defeats and we saw the true Inter tonight, playing with heart. We want to win, it's all to play for in the second leg at San Siro. I am happy with the two goals, it's been a difficult time for me because of the injury but I am back. We are a strong side and we show this every game. ”
