The Dutchman was chosen as one of the best players from MD3 of the League Phase

Inter put on a show against Union SG in Brussels, kick-started by a Denzel Dumfries opener. It was the Dutchman's 24th goal for Inter, his fifth in the Champions League.

Already on two goals this season, his finish in Belgium, which opened the scoring, came after his goal at home against Slavia. In UEFA's motivation, as well as the goals, they took into account his five crosses completed (a UCL high on matchday 3), as he was named in the Team of the Week.
