San Siro's new layout: entrances and accessibility
Tickets
— 8 hours agoAhead of the 2026/27 season, access arrangements and traffic around San Siro are changing. The new entrance layout, prompted by the construction site for the new stadium, will be in place from the very first matchday: Inter vs Monza, on Saturday 22 August at 18:30 CEST.
For this reason, all supporters are advised to reach San Siro by public transport. The number of car parking spaces has been reduced and will gradually decrease further over the course of the season.
HOW TO REACH SAN SIRO
The recommended public transport option depends on the sector:
Orange, Green and Red sectors: the recommended option is the M1 (red line), getting off at Lotto.
Orange, Blue and Red sectors: you can take the M5 (lilac line) to the San Siro Stadio terminus, or tram 16, getting off at Stadio Meazza.
Please note: pedestrian access along Via dei Piccolomini is closed.
THE NEW ENTRANCE NUMBERING
The stadium entrance numbering has been changed: entrances 7 to 10 are no longer in use. On the west side of the perimeter fence, at the Red sectors, there are no longer any entrances: these areas will be used exclusively as emergency exits and may be opened when spectators leave the stadium after the match.
Disabled supporters will be able to access the stadium via PC4, located next to entrance 11.
RECOMMENDED AND MANDATORY ENTRANCES
Each spectator's ticket will indicate the recommended entrance for accessing the stadium. In most cases, this is a recommendation rather than a mandatory entrance: spectators may also use the other available entrances, choosing the one with the shortest queue if they wish.
There are three exceptions, which are mandatory and exclusive:
Entrance 2: mandatory for tickets for the Second Green;
Entrance 3: mandatory for tickets for the Third Green;
Entrance 15 bis: mandatory and exclusive for tickets for the Third Blue – away section.
All spectators are advised to follow the stadium regulations and the instructions of the relevant staff. It is mandatory to occupy the seat indicated on your ticket and comply with all rules governing access to and time spent inside the stadium. If you have any questions or need clarification when entering, please speak to a member of staff, who will be available to provide the necessary guidance.
Please remember that smoking is strictly prohibited inside the stadium. The following items are also prohibited: crutches, large umbrellas, lighters, lasers, flares, unauthorised flags or banners, helmets, pushchairs, trolleys and professional photographic equipment. In the event of rain, only small portable umbrellas without pointed ends will be permitted.
