The countdown ahead of the Nerazzurri's UEFA Champions League 2025/26 opener continues: on Wednesday at 21:00 CEST, Inter will take on Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam

The Nerazzurri's debut in the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 is getting even closer. Chivu's side will take on Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena at 21:00 CEST on Wednesday 17 September in the opening game of the League Phase.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Nerazzurri set off for Amsterdam, where Inter will be playing after 19 years. The most recent fixtures between the Nerazzurri and Ajax were back in the Round of 16 in the 2005/06 Champions League (2-2 at Ajax's home stadium, 1-0 to Inter at San Siro).
