Happy birthday, Fabio!

A reliable defender with fantastic aerial ability and great tactical intelligence: all characteristics that Fabio Galante displayed during his spell with the Nerazzurri.

After arriving in the summer of 1996, Galante spent three seasons at Inter, making 88 appearances and scoring three times - against Bologna, Napoli and Skonto FC. His goal against Bologna arrived at the Dall'Ara on 14 September 1997, the day Ronaldo bagged for the first time in Nerazzurri colours. That campaign ended with a splendid UEFA Cup triumph following victory over Lazio in the final in Paris.

Galante, who turns 51 today, played a big part in that trophy win. Best birthday wishes to Fabio from FC Internazionale Milano and all the Nerazzurri fans!
