BPER, the Official Banking Partner of Inter, continue their commitment to promoting financial education to the younger generations. On Wednesday 11 March, in the conference room of the Villa Clerici, in the TIM Youth Centre (the headquaters of Inter Youth), a double session was held for the Nerazzurri young footballers. The initiative is part of the Educational programme developed by the Club for the benefit of the everyone across the Youth Sector.

The day began with a session for the Under 20 (Primavera) and then a second round of talks for the Under 16, Under 17 and Under 18. In total, almost 90 footballers took part.

During the meetings, the players were guided through a simple and practical path to understanding how to manage thier money and to organise their savings and everyday expenses. Basic concepts related to investments and financial planning were also presented, explained through practical examples connected to their lives as athletes. Special attention was also given to the most common mistakes in money management and how to avoid them, with a focus on the most frequent risks and financial traps that can affect young people in particular.

A special guest at the event was Nerazzurri legend Danilo D'Ambrosio, now an entrepreneur, who answered the players’ questions about managing life after a sports career and shared his experience as a venture capitalist. Massimo Tarantino, Director of Inter’s Youth Sector, was also present at the event.

“We are pleased to have contributed to such an important educational moment, aimed at giving the youngsters a clear compass and practical knowledge to help them make responsible and informed decisions about managing their money. For those growing up in a professional environment, where financial independence arrives earlier than in other fields, learning to navigate the financial world with confidence is a skill that is just as important as the one developed on the pitch. ”
