“I have always taken football very seriously, even when I played in C, in Primavera and as a child, when I always wanted to win. I wanted to be the best: I realised that here at Inter I could grow and that by training I would get to the top, even if I didn't imagine I would win so often. I waited for my moment, and when it came I gave my all: I had the right head, I always gave everything even when I played two minutes. Like in Munich, remember? I can still picture your save on the line, that was great! We had created many chances, but then they were very strong: in the 90th minute when I saw Eto'o in the box I knew he was going to pass me the ball, I made that last run but then I cramped up everywhere!”
