“As a defender, the match, in which I had to dig deep the most, was away at Barcelona; for me it was impressive. First Goran got hurt in the warm-up, then Thiago was sent off and the stadium seemed like it had swallowed us whole. When Piqué scored, it seemed like they could get two or three more: but we were saying to each other ‘come on, guys!’... For me as a defender it was the most beautiful game, because we held out until the very end.”
