The University will award the prestigious honour to the President and CEO of FC Internazionale Milano in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Italian and international sports management


The University of Milano-Bicocca will award an Honorary Master’s Degree in "Marketing, comunicazione aziendale e mercati globali" ("Marketing, Corporate Communication and Global Markets") to Giuseppe Marotta, President and CEO of FC Internazionale Milano and a prominent figure in Italian and international sports management for over four decades.

The conferral ceremony will take place on Friday 26 September at 14:30 CEST in the Main Hall of the University of Milano-Bicocca, in the presence of the University’s Rector, Giovanna Iannantuoni; the Rector’s Delegate for University Sports, Lucia Visconti Parisio; and the Director of the Department of Economics, Quantitative Methods and Business Strategies, Leo Ferraris.

A key figure in the renewal of Italian football, Giuseppe Marotta will also be awarded the honorary degree in recognition of his commitment to the development of human and sporting capital, as well as his support for educational initiatives dedicated to young athletes in recent years.
