The Nerazzurri President and CEO attended the event which opened the tournament, now in its 10th edition

This morning, the presentation of the tenth edition of the "Torneo Nazionale La Passione di Yara" took place. The competition will run from 12 to 14 September in Valbrembo, and which, year after year, continues to spread authentic values related to sport, friendship and memory. The Nerazzurri President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta was in attendance.

Organised by the Valbrembo Football Academy and Paladina Calcio, in collabration with the “La passione di Yara” association, the tournament will be made up of 30 men's teams from all across Italy, six U12 women's teams, and two disabled teams, providing days of excitement and smiles to hundreds of young players.

To make this edition even more special, there will be "Premi alla Passione" prizes given out, by the organisers, to four players who particularly stood out in showing the beauty of football. It's a real great addition, which will allow them to continue dreaming and growing their passions.

These are the words of the Inter CEO and President:

“We are here to remember Yara and this is definitely an important value. I am happy to be here because this is a commendable initiative. When you speak of passion, I like to use this expression: "a person is lucky when they manage to make their passion their profession". Passion is also the basis of this commendable initiative which involves around 34 clubs and around 30 businesses. So this shows how sport can be a powerful social phenomenon, made to spread great values, which, if used properly, can create the leaders of tomorrow. ”

Giuseppe Marotta
