Happy birthday, Goran!

Talent, selflessness and outstanding tactical intelligence: Goran Pandev was a key figure in the Inter side that won everything in the 2009/10 season.

After coming through the Nerazzurri Youth Sector, Goran played for several clubs before returning to Milano in January 2010. His arrival brought a tactical shift that proved decisive. In Inter colours, Pandev made 69 appearances and scored eight goals – some of them truly vital. Nerazzurri fans will never forget his finish against AC Milan in the derby in 2010, or his strike in Munich against Bayern in the 2010/11 Champions League. After winning a league title and the Viareggio Cup with the Primavera in 2002, Goran returned to Inter and got his hands on a further six trophies: the Scudetto, Coppa Italia (x2), the Supercoppa Italiana, the Club World Cup and the 2009/10 Champions League.

Born in Strumica, North Macedonia, on 27 July 1983, Goran Pandev turns 42 today. Best wishes from the Club and the entire Nerazzurri faithful!
