With her goal against Parma, her 29th for the Nerazzurri, the Maltese forward has topped the charts of all-time leading foreign goalscorers for the Club

A special evening for Haley Bugeja, who experienced an unforgettable moment in torrential rain at the Arena Civica in the 39th minute of the league match against Parma. Perfectly positioned in the centre of the box, the Nerazzurre forward turned home a pinpoint cross from Detruyer to break the deadlock against the Gialloblù and set Inter on their way to a third consecutive league victory. It was a crucial goal, and a historic one for the Maltese striker: her 29th in an Inter shirt, making her the club’s all-time leading foreign goalscorer in Inter Women’s history.

It was a milestone that marked another chapter in a wonderful journey, which began when she arrived in Milano in 2023. Her rise started on 12 November 2023, when she scored her first goal for Inter in the league match against Pomigliano. That was the first of 29 goals Haley Bugeja has scored in all competitions, including the historic first-ever Champions League goal for Inter Women, netted against Häcken on 22 September. Her progress has been constant, driven by a desire to improve day by day and to keep making history with Inter Women.
