Happy birthday, Maicon!

Spectacular power and complete class, pace and sensational skills: Maicon etched himself into Inter history with the same explosive force that he would surge down the right flankduring his six years as a Nerazzurro.

He came to Milano in the summer of 2006 and the Brazilian enjoyed six incredible seasons thanks to phenomenal technical and physical qualities: a constant driving force on the right wing, a relentless attacking presence and a constant threat to opposition defences whenever he had the ball at his feet. A modern full-back, able to change the game with just one move or powerful run: he made 248 appearances for Inter, leaving an everlasting mark with 20 goals, many of them iconic, and 51 assists.

The 'Colossus' was one of the brightest stars of the Inter side that won the Treble and during his time at Inter he won four Scudetti, one Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup, two Coppa Italia tophies, and three Italian Super Cups.

Inducted to the Inter Hall of Fame in the 2022 edition, Maicon turns 45 today: best wishes from the Club and all Nerazzurri fans!
