Happy Birthday, Pio!

It's special day for Francesco Pio Esposito, who turns 21 today. The forward is celebrating his second birthday in Nerazzurri colours after an unforgettable season.

It was a year of firsts for Pio, who on 21 June 2025 began his rise with his debut for the First Team against Urawa Red Diamonds in the FIFA Club World Cup. Just a week later, he scored his first goal for Inter against River Plate, capping off a journey that began eleven years earlier in the club’s youth academy, where he developed and grew into the player he is today.

This season was an incredible one, in which Pio's dreams came true: from his Serie A debut at San Siro on 31 August against Udinese, to his first league goal on 27 September against Cagliari; from his Champions League debut away to Ajax, to his first goal in Europe’s top competition in Belgium against Union Saint-Gilloise. Whether starting or coming off the bench, Pio always delivered bringing strength, physical power, and striker’s instinct to the team. He played a key role in Inter’s push towards a historic double, scoring crucial goals in Serie A against Lecce, Juventus, and Pisa, finishing the season with ten goals and six assists in 48 appearances across all competitions.
