An incredible performance by Inter, who beat Como 4-0 at San Siro after a dominant, cleverly controlled match. It's the Nerazzurri's tenth league victory of the season, and they've gained 30 points from 14 matchdays.
Inter were in great form right from the very first moments of the match, as they came close to scoring within seconds through Lautaro and again less than three minutes later with Barella. The opener came from Lautaro Martinez in the eleventh minute as he converted the perfect assist from Luis Henrique. Inter were unstoppable at times, with Como struggling to contain them. From the middle of the first half, the Larians grew into the game but struggled to make any real impact.
In the second half, Como began strongly, creating several very dangerous chances in the first fifteen minutes. Then Inter struck: from a Dimarco corner, Thuram scored the second goal, aided by Acerbi's touch at the near post. The strike completely broke the visitors' momentum as they struggled to cope with the Nerazzurri's relentless pressing. Dimarco struck from distance, but the goal was disallowed for Barella being offside; Lautaro came close to a brace. And then in the 80th minute, it was 3-0 thanks to a classic right-footed finish from Calhanoglu after another excellent move. In the 86th minute, it was 4-0: another explosive sequence, with a Dimarco cross and left-footed volley from Carlos Augusto. A flawless match, in front of a spectacular and supportive home crowd.
