Goals from Carlos Augusto and Marcus Thuram secured a 2-0 victory for Inter over Como in the Nerazzurri’s final home match of 2024. The Brazilian bagged the opener, heading home from a Calhanoglu corner just a few minutes into the second half. In stoppage time, the centre-forward rifled into the net to seal three important points for Inzaghi’s men.
Following tonight’s win, Inter have 37 points from 16 matches, behind both Atalanta (40) and Napoli (38) but with a game in hand. The Nerazzurri’s final fixture of the year will see them face Cagliari away from home, after which they’ll fly to Riyadh for the Supercoppa Italiana.
