MILANO – Football is a game of emotions. Joy, tension, despair, loneliness. Feelings that run through the 90 minutes of a match, but often accompany everyday life, too.
To mark World Mental Health Day, FC Internazionale Milano has unveiled content created in collaboration with Crazy for Football, highlighting the fact that everyone, including those who are used to supporting others, may need someone to listen, offer reassurance and provide support.
Football’s emotions thus become a mirror of those we experience in everyday life. Through four illustrations by artist @ilbaffogram, the campaign draws parallels between what happens on the pitch and in the stands and what each of us may experience every day. From the joy of celebrating a goal to the tension of a difficult moment, as well as loneliness and disappointment. Different emotions, united by one shared message: looking after our own mental health is just as important as supporting the wellbeing of others.
The campaign has been created in collaboration with Crazy for Football, an organisation that promotes mental health through football, championing sport as a means of inclusion, togetherness and wellbeing. The partnership stems from a shared desire to raise awareness of an issue that affects everyone, both on and off the pitch.
“Because taking care of your mental health is everyone’s game” is the message that closes the content published on the Club’s social media platforms. It is an invitation to recognise the importance of supporting one another, reminding us that asking for help, listening and caring for others are all actions that can make a difference.
The partnership between Inter and Crazy for Football has also extended onto the pitch, with the Crazy Challenge, a four-team tournament held in Milan on 9 October as part of Milano 4 Mental Health 2026.
Fabio Galante, an Inter Legend, also took part in the event, playing for the Milan City Council team.
Through this initiative, FC Internazionale Milano reaffirms its commitment to raising awareness of important social issues, using the reach of its platforms and the Club’s visibility to promote greater awareness, foster a culture of inclusion and make a positive impact on society.
