Inter Women put on a show and bear Genoa 5 - 0. Wullaert scores a brace

A perfect performance, completely flawless. Inter secured a dominant win over Genoa with a 5-0 victory in matchday eight of the league, in front of the Arena Civica fans. It was a match they dominated from start to finish, defined by top-class goals and a proactive attitude.

The Nerazzurre kicked off with plenty of momentum and took the lead just nine minutes in with a scramble in the box. The ball stayed there, and Wullaert, with her quick reaction time, headed it home to make it 1-0. Minutes later, Inter doubled their lead: Forcinella didn't manage to clear Vilhjalmsdottir's cross from the left, and Csiszar pounced on the loose ball, scoring with a header to make it 2-0. Piovani's team kept pressing, creating opportunities, dictating the tempo of the game. Genoa looked dangerous in the 29th minute with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box from Bettalli, but the ball flew wide. In the 42nd minute, Rúnarsdottir confidently blocked the Rossoblù threat. The third goal came just before the break in the 46th minute, following another scramble in the box as Tomasevic found the decisive right-footed tap-in to make the score 3-0 and bring the first half to an end.

The second half began with the same dominance. Inter were in complete control and continued pressing. In the 52nd minute, the Nerazzurre found their fourth goal: a brilliant header by Milinkovic, who angled perfectly to direct the ball under the crossbar, making it 4-0. Not long after, Schough came on and immediately proved threatening with a close-range shot that was saved by Forcinella in the 57th minute. Inter continued to produce chances, and in the 61st minute Monterubbiano took aim from twenty metres, but Rúnarsdottir responded with a clean save. The decisive 5-0 came in the 65th minute as Csizar picked out the perfect pass to assist Wullaert, who took the keeper on one-on-one, which she finished with composure and secured a brace. Inter stayed in control throughout and came close to scoring again in the 74th minute with Schough, stopped once more by a great save from Forcinella. After three minutes of added time, the match came to an end and sealed a clear, well-deserved, and undisputed victory.
