— Sep 30th 2025Together with Inter Club fans associated with the National Deaf Association, the new feature will appear on San Siro's big screen at the start of Inter vs. Slavia Praha
Being part of the Nerazzurri family means sharing emotions together, without any barriers. With this aim in mind, a new initiative for deaf fans will be launching this season.
As of the next match at the Meazza, Inter vs. Slavia Prague, fans will see the players sign their names on the big screens. An idea that came about thanks to the collaboration from the Inter Club fans associated with the National Deaf Association of Lombardy, who selected the name signs that the deaf community uses for the players, demonstrating a special bond between the team and the community.
The collaboration with the association will also make the moments leading up to the game more inclusive: on the Club's channels, Italian Sign Language translations will be available for the press conferences held the day before Serie A games, starting from this season, also for Cup competitions.
Additionally, the audio description service for visually impaired fans is also being developed. From this season, the audio descriptions will be available directly on users' smartphones and will be provided by a trained commentator, in collaboration with the Milan Institute for the Blind.
“This initiative is being launched after two years of collaboration between Inter and our association, with the aim to create as inclusive an environment as possible for our fans to fully experience the emotions of the stadium. We are pleased and proud to have created, together with the Club and the players, this gesture of support for the deaf community: an example of sport's ability to unite and embrace diversity!”
Renzo Corti - Presidente per la Lombardia dell’Ente Nazionale Sordi
The Club's initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all fans align with its sustainability goals and comply with the accessibility standards set by UEFA, FIGC, and Serie A.
AT THE STADIUM AND AT HOME, THE NERAZZURRI EXPERIENCE IS MORE ACCESSIBLE THAN EVER.
