Inter’s Coppa Italia campaign comes to an end in the semi-final. The Nerazzurri lost 0-3 against AC Milan following the 1-1 draw in the first leg. The Rossoneri will face one of Bologna or Empoli. Jović’s brace and a late goal from Reijnders decided the match.

A difficult match to analyse, as the Nerazzurri dominated in the first half hour: Dimarco hit the bar and the team went close a number of times, but it wasn’t enough for the opener. Then, the Rossoneri struck: Jimenez crossed from the right and Jović headed home.

The Rossoneri took control after the opener. Jović struck at the start of the second half after a mix up in the area following a corner. 0-2 with practically the rest of the half to play, but Inter could not change the final result. Inzaghi’s changes helped Inter create chances, but in the 68th minute Maignan pulled off a brilliant save to deny De Vrij, effectively securing the result. In the final minutes, the Rossoneri took charge and scored their third through Reijnders in the 85th minute.

Inter’s next match is at San Siro on Sunday, in the league against Roma.
