InterNationals: goal for Zielinski, Dumfries assist

Three Nerazzurri took to the field for the first time with their national team, in the second international break of 2025/26. There were various international games, including 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and friendlies.

A narrow win for Poland, who defeated New Zealand 1–0 in a friendly thanks to a goal from Piotr Zielinski in the 49th minute. The Inter midfielder played 63 minutes before being substituted.

Three important points for the Netherlands with Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij's, who won 4-0 away to Malta. The game was decided by Gakpo's brace, and goals from Reijnders and Depay. With this victory, the Oranje continue to lead Group G with 13 points, three ahead of Poland. Dumfries played the entire match, providing the assist for the Netherlands’ fourth goal, while De Vrij remained on the bench.

A balanced encounter between the Czech Republic and Croatia ended 0–0, with both sides taking a point and remaining joint top of Group L on 13 points. Petar Sucic started the match and played the full 90 minutes.
