Nerazzurri players took centre stage in Italy's 2-0 win over Moldova in their penultimate World Cup qualifying group match. The Azzurri broke the deadlock in the 88th minute with a Mancini header from a cross by Federico Dimarco, who had replaced Cambiaso in the 75th minute. Italy's second goal arrived in stoppage time through Pio Esposito, who, having replaced Raspadori in the 65th minute, nodded home to score his second goal for his country. Davide Frattesi also featured in the second half, coming on in the 82nd minute for Zaccagni. On Sunday at San Siro, Italy face Norway at 20:45 CET.
