— 9 hours agoInter continues to expand its international presence in the United States, strengthening its connection with the country’s most popular sport
Building on the connection forged last summer during the Club World Cup, when the Nerazzurri trained at the Seattle Seahawks’ facility, Inter has strengthened its link with the NFL, by taking part in the narrative of Super Bowl 2026 thanks to an exceptional ambassador.
For the first time, Inter will have a presence at the United States’ most-watched sporting event through Cliff Avril, Super Bowl XLVIII winner with the Seahawks in 2014 and now an NFL Legend.
During Super Bowl Week, Avril met current Seattle Seahawks players and local celebrities, creating an authentic bridge between the Nerazzurri and American football worlds while engaging fans of both sports.
The new initiative will come to a climax today when Avril attends the Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, proudly representing Inter.
Over the past year, the partnership between Inter and the NFL has been reinforced through tangible symbols, including the launch of the special InterxNFL jersey, as well as other shared experiences. During the Club World Cup in the U.S., Inter hosted special guests from NFL teams in Los Angeles and Seattle, including Cameron Dicker (Los Angeles Chargers) and Rylie Mills (Seattle Seahawks). It was also then that Avril first connected with Inter, meeting Nerazzurri legend Maicon.
The collaboration continued during November in Madrid, when Cristian Vieri attended the Miami Dolphins vs Washington Commanders match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, meeting NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Dolphins Legend Dan Marino.
