Inter U23 lose at home to league - leaders Vicenza in Serie C

A hard-fought contest decided in the final moments, as Inter U23 narrowly lost 2–1 to league leaders Vicenza at the U-Power Stadium in Monza. Capello opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, and though Kamate equalised from the penalty spot after the break, Stuckler’s late strike sealed the win.

The match began at high tempo, with both sides showing tactical discipline. Vicenza threatened early through Morra’s left-footed effort, while Inter responded with long-range attempts from Kaczmarski and Fiordilino. 32 minutes in, Zonta broke through to set up Capello for the opener, and moments later narrowly missed doubling the lead. Cocchi tried to respond before the interval, but Vicenza went into the break one up.

The second half turned quickly: in the 49th minute, Leverbe brought down Alexiou in the box and was sent off. Kamate converted the resulting penalty with composure to make it 1–1. With a man advantage, Inter pressed forward, with Lavelli going close in the 75th minute, but Vicenza held firm and struck at the death.
