Inter U23 drew 1–1 with Pro Vercelli at the U-Power Stadium on Matchday 16 of Serie C, Group A. It was an intense, hard-fought contest: after conceding early, the Nerazzurri battled back, with the equaliser coming from an own goal midway through the second half.

The game sparked into life immediately, with Pro Vercelli putting the Inter defence under real pressure. After just five minutes Rutigliano broke the deadlock, firing an impressive left-footed strike from the edge of the area past Melgrati to make it 1-0. The visitors kept pushing and came close to doubling their lead several times: 11 minutes in, Burruano’s powerful effort was tipped behind by Melgrati, and moments later Sow’s header forced another sharp save. In the 14th minute, El Bouchataoui tried his luck with a first-time strike from distance, but Melgrati once again kept Inter in the game with a fine stop. Inter U23 tried to respond through Kamate, and then again in the 33rd minute when Agbonifo unleashed a fierce left-footer that Passador turned behind. After two minutes of added time, Pro Vercelli went into the break with a 1–0 advantage.

The Nerazzurri raised the intensity after the restart and were rewarded after 64 minutes: Agbonifo whipped in a cross from the right and El Bouchataoui, in attempting to clear, diverted the ball into his own net to make it 1–1. Inter kept the pressure on and pushed for a winner. In the 75th minute, Zuberek headed over from a pinpoint Kamate delivery, before Topalovic went close in the 81st minute with a cleanly struck volley that flashed just wide. Pro Vercelli threatened again in stoppage time when Comi caught a volley sweetly and narrowly missed what would have been a spectacular goal. In the final action of the match, Lavelli hooked an effort towards goal, but it failed to trouble the keeper, and the points were ultimately shared.
