Inter Women close out their campaign with a 0 - 3 defeat

Inter Women closed out their season campaign with a harmless 3-0 defeat to Como Women at the Arena Civica on the final matchday of Serie A Women. Piovani had made some major changes to his squad, giving minutes to several Nerazzurre who had featured less throughout the season. However, Inter were punished by two quick goals at the end of the first half. Bernardi and Nischler scored for a clinical Como Women's side who were able to capitalise on their chances, while Inter were unable to convert several opportunities and pull one back. Henrietta Csiszar, who was introduced with 15 minutes to go, came closest to scoring with a header that drifted just wide of the post. It would have been the perfect ending to her five years with the Nerazzurre. The squad finish the season in second place on 44 points, securing qualification for the UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying rounds.
