Akanji, Bonny and Carlos Augusto speak after the 0-2 win over Parma on Serie A matchday 19

Three important points for Inter, who won 0-2 away to Parma, getting their sixth consecutive win in the league. The midweek fixture preceded Sunday's big match at San Siro against Napoli. Goals from Dimarco and Thuram got us the win against Parma.

After the match, Manuel Akanji, Ange-Yoan Bonny and Carlos Augusto spoke about the match at the Tardini.

“This is a very important victory: today was important to show the strength of the group, and it’s also useful ahead of the next match against Napoli. I don’t care where I play, what’s important is helping the team, controlling the team’s play, and giving directions to my teammates: I can carry the ball and contribute with my own qualities. I’m very happy here, I feel very comfortable. I think that in my career, I’ve never had problems adapting to different teams and systems: at the start I had to understand what the coach wanted from me and how to play with my teammates. In the Premier League, football is more physical and there’s less space in the center of the pitch because there are constant transitions, whereas here it’s different.””

Manuel Akanji

“It wasn’t an easy match; it’s always tough here. For us, these are three very important points. It’s a shame about the disallowed goal, I’m sorry, but today the three points mattered much more. Parma is a special place for me; I fell in love with it when I arrived here. They welcomed me so well today, and I can only thank the city, it was really nice to come back. Sunday will be a very important match against a great team: we’re ready to play against Napoli”

Ange-Yoan Bonny

“The important thing today was to win, and we did so. We are focussed on ourselves; we need to do our job because the league campaign is a long one.”

Carlos Augusto
