Barella: "We're disappointed but we will continue to fight on all fronts"

“This year, we've already given away a few centimetres in games, but today we conceded a goal in a 7v3 situation, which just shouldn't happen. We should've done better, but, at the same time we're fighting on three fronts and it's not always easy to find the energy and nerves to fight against a strong side like Bologna. Now, we need to lick our wounds and start again from tomorrow and think that we can win on all fronts. I've never looked for excuses, there's no such thing as tiredness two minutes before the end of the game, we needed to do better, therefore, it's our fault even if Bologna pushed forward and put us under pressure. It was still a balanced game, a draw would've been fair. We still need to work on these situations and try to do well because football does not forgive and we want to continue to win just like we've done these past years. The team are tired? There's been a lot of games, and there'll be another competition to play at the end of the season but we don't want to look for excuses. We want to fight on all fronts because we deserved it, the Coach deserves it. We've worked a lot these past years to get to this point, so we need to give our all. It might be difficult but we need to find the right energy that we lack at times. ”
