Another standout performance, another goal: Ange-Yoan Bonny proved instrumental in Inter's comeback victory away to Bologna. The French-Ivorian striker came on in the 58th minute with the scores level and made an immediate impact, causing all sorts of problems for the Bologna defence and playing a key role in the Nerazzurri's attacking play. After seeing a goal ruled out by the narrowest of offside margins, Bonny got his reward in the 83rd minute, finding the net for the third time in his last five appearances to seal the victory.
Speaking after the final whistle at the Dall'Ara, Bonny shared his thoughts on Inter's comeback:
“It's great to get the win. We're all really happy. For me, it's not about individual goals, it's about what we want to achieve as a team. We all have to pull in the same direction, just like we did today. Everyone played their part, whether they started or came off the bench, and we're really pleased with how we played. We've got a great group with lots of quality players. I just have to wait for my chance and be ready when it comes. It's not just about the starting eleven. We've got 23 or 25 really good players, and the coach trusts every single one of us. That's what makes us strong. Marcus is always there for me and Pio, and so is Lautaro. We're really close, like one big family. There's a great spirit in this team. It's not the first time we've come from behind, and today we showed that character once again. Everyone who came off the bench gave everything for the team. It paid off, and we're all really happy.”
